Launcher not starting + Unremovable file - by Byzanoid

Hey there, I've been having a problem with the launcher not starting. I've seen all the things about having Steam started, and it is on when I try. The launcher and the .gz archive file is in the skyrim directory. The launcher started the first time, and I installed Enderal, started to patch, but had to turn it off before it was done. Now it just won't start.
I tried downloading a new Launcher, but the download failed, saying I had insufficient permissions. Now I am stuck with a Launcher.exe file I can't delete or do anything with. It says I don't have the permissions to do anything with it, despite being the one and only account holder on this computer. I can't even delete the file through cmd or powershell.

welcome to the forum 
- are you running the Launcher as admin?
- did you check for a reading/writing protection on the file?
- the full log might be useful (to someone who can actually read it)
could you attach that? (the file (launcher.log) is located in ...\Skyrim\Enderallauncher\system\log)

I have tried starting the launcher as admin many times.
The Failed Launcher download file now stuck in my downloads that won't let me delete or move it won't let me do anything with it at all. I even tried to 'take ownership' as some googling said, but I don't have permission to change ownership of the file either.
Any new downloads of the Launcher fail.
Here is the log file. Not sure whether to make attachment or post it normally but here.

To delete the corrupted file you can use the tool unlocker (language is English)
Perhaps that solves your problem already.
And there is an "Attachment" option right below the field in which you can type a reply.
