Hello! I recently downloaded Nehrim after playing (and loving) Enderal. I used a YouTube tutorial to install the game and set everything up. I was able to start a new game, but once I got to the character creation, I noticed that basic Elder Scrolls races (Argonian, Imperial, etc.) were present, along with the Nehrimese ones. I created an Alemanne race. However, the second I stepped forward, I went to a loading screen and found myself in the dungeon cell that marks the beginning of an Oblivion playthrough. I am not sure what went wrong during the installation, but if I could get any help, it would be greatly appreciated.

yeah, you should only see three races in Character Creation :/

do you have any mods installed?

should be listed and activated.

where did you install the game?
it shouldn't be anywhere near "Program Files" on C:\ or anything like that.
and absolutely not in the Oblivion folder.

and you'd need a different guide if you have the Steam Version.

only thing I can suggest right now is reinstalling everything

I reinstalled everything, which seems to have helped. The YouTube tutorial I watched was not really accurate, thank you for posting the other one. I think the problem may also have been mods. I had a few that edited the textures in Nehrim a bit, but I found that having any mod installed immediately crashed the game. Thank you for your help again!!
