Hello everyone,

I have a problem with this quest too. When I finish a dialogue with Dal'Geyss and he is supposed to call a guard to move me out, nothing happens! I've tried to reload, get back to the previos saves and still have this problem. Could you help me?

and yeah, can confirm, seems to be the save
- did you have any mods installed? (and deactivated them later?)
- are your game and launcher on the newest patch?

also, the mapmarker still points to the outside of the house, not sure if that's intentional (it's been a while)

to add/clarify - I can't really do anything helpful here, sorry
someone (stuemper most likely) needs to take a look at the savefiles
trying to play around with console commands will likely only make things worse

Thank you for response. No, I didn't install any mods and deactivate them later. All is updated to the newest version. I didn't have any serious problems with this game till this quest. Strange thing is that mapmarker points to the outside but if you get out of the house it starts to point its door!

what is the earliest save from which you retried? (is that even a sentence?)

if you didn't try that, load a save from before ever talking to the mercenary (best in another city district)

Well, previous save is from when I try to bribe bodyguard who stands in the front of the house. Same problem. Earlier save is "7 hours of gameplay" ago! I screwed up a little bit and made only quicksaves for some time. It looks like I am doomed then. Thanks anyway.

Well this is not really a bug we can do something about. The dialogue is conditioned and depending on your race the dialogue will continue. Since you've manipulated your race via a racemenu to Aeterna, you won't be able to progress.
Theoretically the console command: lets you progress, but you might encounter more issues because of the race change.

Thank you good man! I wouldn't expect that my race could affect gameplay in that way. I hope I will be able to finish main quests without similar issues in the future. Thank you once more! To be honest, this is the best game of that kind I have played since Gothic 2. Hands down!
