Just starting the second part of this quest and have followed Jorek to the Whisperwood where the man appears to be mining a coffin. Jorek has said we need to talk to him but he won't answer and Jorek is stuck too. I try to talk to Jorek but he asks what I want and when I tell him I had just had a vision, he responds rather dismissively.

After that he just stares at me...won't move . No other dialog options.

I had been in the Whisperwood previously and even in the ruins above man on the road. so I don't know if this quest is glitched but i can't seem to go forward with it. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Could you attach a savegame before the bug happened, e.g. one at the myrad tower?
Savegames are located here: documents\mygames\skyrim\saves
A savegame consists of two files: one .skse file and one .ess file (please zip them together)

OK, I'll attach it here.

A note --I upgrade to the newest version of Enderal this morning--1.1-9.0. Then I started right at this save (at the myrad tower) hoping that the new version would let me get past this glitch. But no joy.

Please let me know if you need anything else...I'm dead in the water without a fix.

So here it is:

I can't reproduce the bug with your savegame. Have you tried loading without the installed mods?

Maybe you should also talk to Jorek about the vision before you encounter the man.

I'll try with out the mods.

last run through this morning I talked to Jorek before we got to the man.

I had 4 mods installed--Pastel Map Markers, Better Jumping, SMIM-merged, and AHZ MoreHud.

Disabling the first two didn't help.

But when I disabled SMIM and MoreHUD, in addition, I got past the glitch. No I'm at the ritual location and about to pick up where I left off but with all the four mods reinstalled.
