Hey!

I'm really enjoying playing Enderal, but something is bugging me. Whenever I attack there are no sounds that I would normally hear in Skyrim. Everything else seems fine. What could the problem be? Things I have tried:

Validating Skryim files, then reinstalling Enderal,
Uninstalling enderal, validating skyrim files, reinstalling enderal

What else can I do?

Have you any mods installed? Go to the Enderal Launcher, open up the Data files tab and uncheck all the Mods. Make sure nothing is wrong with your audio settings.
You could try to close Enderal and the Enderal Launcher and go to documents\my games\skyrim and remove both .ini's (configuration files). Start the Enderal Launcher afterwards.
If that does not help, I would recommend to reinstall Enderal with a new downloaded installation package.

These fixes didn't work, completely reinstalled Enderal with a fresh installation package. Too bad! It's not a major issue though.

Is it possible to install some sort of sound mod that would fix this?

Try out the torrent download for Enderal. Two other source files might get corrupted during the download while using a browser.

Hey! Thanks for your suggestions. I have reinstalled Enderal with the installation package from the torrent, still no sound files while swinging swords or bow sounds, very strange. Do I need to completely start a new game maybe?

Ok, this is very strange and probably isn't caused by Enderal assuming you have installed it on a clean Skyrim installation.
Do you use special audio drivers or any mods? Post a screenshot how your "data files" tab in the launcher looks like.

Ok, no it's fine. Show me how your skyrim\data directory looks.
Is a Modmanager or Modorganizer active or was used to install Enderal?

And please attach a savegame.
Savegames are located here: documents\mygames\skyrim\saves
A savegame consists of two files: one .skse file and one .ess file (please zip them together)

Well, I can't reproduce this with your savegame. Have you tried starting a new game?

i had the no music problem and the removemusic [ID] didnt work. then i tried my skyrim backup, which also was on the external harddrive and it didnt have sound either. so i copied my enderal to my main volume on my internal harddrive and it had music again. any idea why?

As far as I know it's an engine bug, nothing we can fix.
The only solution is to move it to your internal harddrive.
