I have gotten to the part of Into the Forsaken Country that you sleep on the ship to advance the quest. The only issue is that it says I can't wait here. I have tried advancing the quest and the guy comes down to tell me to get out, but the door is locked so I can't leave. Any suggestions on what the issue may be are greatly appreciated.

you did try the bed instead of waiting with T, yes?
have you tried reloading an older save?

Yes, I actually tried waiting in all of the beds just to be sure. I also tried several old saves as well, but no luck. I haven't tried starting a new character yet, but I was hoping not to have to do that. This might be a stupid question, but would there be any way to unlock the door with the console?

three files when using obse, not entirely sure without, only one I think?
you might need to put in in a zip/rar file

or you could use the console with
setstage MQ07
and the stages listed here, bit further down the site

just the unlocking would be
open console - click on door
unlock

Sorry I wasn't clear in my original post. I had tried advancing the quest by using the setstage MQ07 with both 75 and 80, but that is when the guy came down and told me to get out only the door was locked. I was able to just unlock the door with the console and it looks like everything is progressing. Fingers crossed. I am running with about 47 mods so it's quite possible this won't be the last issue I run into. Thanks so much for the assistance!
