after the update on december 23rd 2016 when i press launch enderal nothing happens not even the suspected drumroll that scares you no matter how many times you press it.

Have you tried restarting Steam or your PC?

I have the same issue here.
At first after the update I could launch the game, but had no mouse cursor in the start menu. Like.. just none. Not just invisible, but I couldn't interact with the "Continue" etc. button at all via the mouse.
If I pressed Enter to continue my game, the health bar and the navigation bar at top would be slightly faded out, but I could not issue anything commands.
Not move, menu isn't working, nothing. Only the console worked, but that hardly helped.

I then uninstalled Enderal and re-installed it, because I thought it may be an issue cause by me accidentally starting Skyrim instead at first, so maybe Steam messed with the Enderal installation.
Now I have the issue described above.

No matter what settings, windowed or fullscreen, the game launches, the first bit of music plays, then just closes immediately.
No error message or anything. :/
€: Restarting didn't help.

Is there a way to roll back to the previous version?
I just go the mod yesterday and back then it worked, now with the new update it seemingly broke, so being able to uninstall just the last patch / select which patches to apply would be neat right now. ^^

After re-installing again and updating, it now works....
So.. Ye, idk what caused the hiccups, but just trying again a couple times helps apparently. ^^

Just downloaded the new 1.1.6.5 patch this morning. Downloaded it the same exact way I have all the other patches before it, only this time, after the patch was finished, it apparently broke the game completely. Nothing works. "Launch Enderal" and all the buttons under it are greyed out. Not sure what happened, but I'm hoping this is either fixed soon, or someone tells me a way of going back to the previous patch.

Having the exact same problem as the guy above. Just updated today and all of a sudden everything's grayed out. The only clickable button is the install button which doesn't make much sense since it was fully installed and working right before the patch.

Go to this file and open it with a texteditor like Notepad++:
..\Skyrim\EnderalLauncher\system\config\conf.sur
Change the bInstallStat line to the following:
bInstallStat=1

If that does not help you should consider a reinstallation of Enderal.

I will note however that the launcher is asking to reinstall the same patch I just installed, possibly indicating that the update was not applied correctly in the first place for me. In any case I'll hold off on this last update for now and try reinstalling later. Thanks again!
