I tried looking through the forum but wasn't finding this issue anywhere. I was playing Enderal perfectly fine, except today when I tried starting it, the game kept crashing on startup. I had steam verify the integrity of the game and it reinstalled some files. Now when I go through the Enderal launcher it starts the game. The main menu is the same Enderal menu except it is playing the Skyrim main menu song. When I hit continue/load a save it starts the game in Skyrim not Enderal. I don't even have any Skyrim save files anymore. When I tried starting a new game just to see, it did the Skyrim start. Does anyone know what I am missing here?

I did install a UI mod to make the text bigger so I could play on the other side of the room. The mod worked last night in Enderal when I tested it and seems to work in Skyrim no problem though. And even when I delete the mod it still has the same problem. I have also unloaded Enderal and then restored it. Should I completely delete it instead?

You are not supposed to verify the game cache, Steam will check for the original Skyrim directories. Obviously Steam won't find the correct Skyrim directories, because Enderal is installed on top of Skyrim. You just destroyed your installation.
Uninstall Enderal completely (not archiving!) via the launcher. Clean the Skyrim folder by hand. Install Skyrim via Steam. Verify its game cache: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_art ... -QEUH-3335
Then run it to see if it works. If yes quit. If not you have done something wrong with the Skyrim installation.
