I launched original steam version and it still seems to play normally so i presume its updated?
If you still can launch Skyrim it is not correctly installed. I would recommend a reinstall of Enderal:
Uninstall the Enderal completely (not archiving!) via the launcher. Clean the Skyrim folder by hand. Install Skyrim via Steam. Verify it's game cache: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_art ... -QEUH-3335
Then run it to see if it works. If yes quit. If not you have done something wrong with the Skyrim installation.
Make sure you have the newest launcher A42: http://enderal.com/?lang=en
Download a fresh installation package (we recommend torrent) and install it with this instruction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwlSsjehgQA
Thanks,
I verified cache was 1 error but the video says not to worry about that.
I am always exceeding my monthly bandwidth so i dont have the option really to re-download skyrim entirely.
I followed the video (I have no mods) still exactly same result as before though if i click SkyrimLauncher.exe normal game resumes.
hmm though when i search for skyrim it seems i have a skyrim folder in many various locations though because windows explorer refuses to list paths its very difficult to work out which search results are subfolders and which are 'alternate installs' because of the way ms crippled windows explorer.
Anyway when i cut it down to just search for SkyrimLauncher.exe we still find two locations, maybe thats the problem?
F:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim
F:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim
Perhaps I should I delete one?
Be nice to somehow find out which one steam uses.
hmm when i click steam/browse local files it goes to the "Skyrim" not "skyrim" location So i will try installing enderal there also. though both launchers launch steam as it is already
Working now!, worth reading someone else may have this weird issue if steam installing skyrim twice in different locations!
