to free 8gb hdd space... Successfully installed Enderal, is it okay to play Enderal even if the EnderalInstall_EN.gz is deleted?

Yes it is. But keep in mind that you need the installation package if you want to do clean reinstallation of Enderal. That is the case if something is messed up.
I would recommend to delete the .gz file after checking ingame if Enderal works.
