First off - I LOVE this mod!! It is the best RP experience I've played.

I've worked through the quests to Black Light Part 2, and I've cleared all the Neherim bad guys down to the gate. The lower gate is open and the path through is blocked with one of the battering rams, but nobody will close it.

All the city guards are listing as busy, and when I speak to Tealor, the only dialogue option is about the cycle. And the gatehouse is locked and I can't find a key. There's another named soldier (I forgot his name), but he just lists as busy, too.

In my journal, the diamond next to the objective "Rid the harbor from the Nehrimnese" is filled-in, so it looks like the step is complete.

I've even tried the console command "resetai" on everyone I can find.

Please let me know what I'm supposed to do to get the gate closed.

Sorry, for the late reply.
Sadly you have to skip the conversation. The nehrimese sabotaged the mechanics of the gate. Tealor sends the soldiers to the canons on the wall and wants you to help him to save/repair the mechanic to close the gate towards the harbour.
Open the Console and type in: If it is stucking again, I' look into it tomorrow.

Do you have an earlier save (Ark Noble's or South quarter - before entering the harbor during the attack)? Would be awesome for us.

Note to myself:
Stuck in MQ12b_SC07_GateDiscussion. Only Phase 1 is completed, Scene package is running on everyone. Seems like the start conditions of Phase 2 are not fulfilled. Or it could be one of the 50+ Aliases missing/disabled. Testing tommorow.

Unfortunately, I spoke too soon.

After the console command, I was able to enter the gatehouse and activate the lever. My next objective is to ensure the retreat.

When I get to the gate, there's a magic "wall" blocking them, and again, Tealor only wants to talk about the cycle.

Ok, this is probably a problem with the aliases. Let me check...

Ok, if I load your savegame of the south quarter everything will work just fine as long as you avoid the fight against the nehrimese at the beginning as much as possible.
I would recommend to load an older save (south quarter) and then moving through it again. I guess this is a faster option than waiting for a fix which takes at least a few hours figuring out what the cause could be.

Thanks Tilliboy - that worked. I'm done with the gate and back to the Temple and on my way to the Beacon.

Thanks for your help - while waiting, I loaded up Nuka World for Fallout 4 to give it a try.....boy, did I miss Enderal!!!
