After 95 hours of playing the cooldowns on powers stop working.
I can't meditate anymore or use onsloght or others powers. I can use console to spend learning points but now i m stuck in the main quest because of the cooldown bug :
- mob almost respawn immediatly, everything is back again when i go out of a dungeon
- i m stuck in main quest "forgotten homeland part 1". As i have no cooldown it seems that the 24hours timer to get Gertrude ready is not working. No Npc on boat, and the starling is not responsive. Nothing happen.
Can i get a console command to start the quest please ?

It seems i'm stuck in Qyranian Stance and i can't cancel it.
Can i player.removespell it ?
If i resurrect 1 my character it clean all the effect but i loose bonus and weird fever but all stances and powers work again.

I m still waiting for gertrude to be ready.

The only spoiler here is the name of a place and an extremely vague comment, nothing more.

A little while after reaching Starcity, I lose the ability to meditate. I was a level 28 when I realized this, and I thought it had to do with Starcity itself.

I leveled up to 29, and eventually 30, not being able to meditate after either milestone, nor could I enable my perk talents like Tempest or Fire Arrow. After going through some plot points, I returned to Sun Temple, and I still could not meditate. When I press the Talent button, the compass bar flashes a few times as if to say I'm waiting for a cool-down or something, but even after 24 hours, still no luck.

Is it written into the game to restrict the player from talents once you've visited Starcity? I've already replayed over two hours of the game (leveling up from 28 through 30 again), and the "bug" begins right after the old guy yells down to us about a security system. I don't feel like I can finish the campaign until I get this working.

We can't do anything if we can't look into this problem ourselves.
How do you switch between the talents? Via keys like [1],[2],[3]? If you switch between them constantly the engine can't handle the scripts in the background, and will cause the talents to go on cooldown permanently.
Does it help to go back to an earlier save and replay this part without this bug? Or does it happen always at the same moment?

I'm playing with a wireless 360 controller.

I use D-Pad Up to switch between favorites, and I tap Right Bumper to cast.

I had a two-hour-old save that the Talents still worked on. I replayed all the way from level 28 through to 30 again, and I lost my talents at the same spot, a couple minutes after you-know-who yelled down to us about a security system. Jespar and The Prophet leave that area, get a look outside, and the bug begins.

Is there a cooldown script fix?

No, not yet since we could not figure out why or where they bug out.

Okay. I will go back to my level 27 save, and play back up to the issue, saving on separate files frequently. I'll make sure Talents are still working for the save, and I'll describe exactly where the Talent cooldown breaks.

This might take me a day or two, but my aim is to upload a file tonight. I really appreciate your help! This game is so fun!

Okay, after running through the same three hours for the third time, the bug did not come back, hence my never uploading my saves.

I probably sabotaged my ability to get the bug again, because I changed one important thing. I did not equip the medallion that was given to me right before our trip to the city in the clouds. As I'm sure you know, the medallion shortened cooldown times for all talents.

I should have just equipped it like I did before, since we were trying to recreate the bug, but something told me this had to be the cause of my issues. I'm sorry I didn't follow through.

I have now completed the campaign with no further issues. If anyone experiencing these issues reads this, and you have the cooldown-shortening medallion equipped, perhaps go to a save before you received it, then don't equip it. It might not be the root of the issue, but since the bug is cooldown related, the medallion very well might have been the straw that broke the camel's back.

I've beaten the game, bloody marvellous I must say. I did equip said medallion when I received it and didn't encounter this problem, wore it right to the end. I don't know what your build was but mine was Keeper/Blade Dancer/Thaumaturge, and Trickster. Maybe there is a certain talent combined with this medallion that sets off the bug?
