launcher failing to start enderal - by nocia

the launcher opens just fine. however, when i try to launch enderal steam is busy starting skyrim then the window goes away and reappears and on and on. nothing happens. I was very close to finishing the game so i would really like to know if it's possible to get an older version and finish the game.

Do you use any mods? It could be that we changed certain scripts which are in usage of your mods. Disable them.

i have managed to get skyrim running, but its like a blend of enderal and vanilla skyrim. all my saves redirect me to the riverwood pub with delphine. the hud is still enderal, and i still have some weapons in my inventory. No quests or dialog is available.
reinstalling enderal at the moment, maybe that will work

Yes, reinstalling is what I would have recommend anyways. Seems like your Steam decided you download Skyrim over Enderal. Did you use "Verify Integrity Skyrim game cache" function in Steam?

I recommend to do the reinstall completely. If you archive your corrupted Enderal installation, you will reinstall it again. Use the installation package instead.

verified integrity 3-4 times or so, and with a complete reinstall enderal worked again.

Do not verify the game cache when Enderal is installed. It will destroy the installation.

Sorry to open again this topic but i have this problem and i unistalled everything and this issue continues, what can i do?

And give more information how you have installed Skyrim and Enderal.

okey, first i installed enderal and everyrhing was going well but the next day this issue starts to happen so i decided to unistall everything, first enderal and next skse and skyrim(making a check if works without enderal)and then i only install skyrim and the issue was happening

I have the same problem Fresh installation, ran Skyrim before installing Enderal.
Installed Enderal following Gopher's video. It opens the Steam box of launching game, over and over, until it stops and no game.

Hi again, i have news about the status of skyrim and is that now works and only i turn off the PC and Enderal works too. I dont understand nothing and reinstalled enderal before to start work again.

Hi, sorry don't have it, had to uninstall skyrim because uninstalling Enderal didn't fix it.
Downloading Skyrim again, I'll post when I try again -slow connection/download-.
