For some reason about the Starling ship departing, I was already sensing something's about to get naughty haha.

As Calia will be a figure of reverance in the next game and her possesion is of importance, probability states that we'll learn more about her in said game. Of course, as Sure AI usually only makes one game per Elder Scrolls game and it takes a while to do so (an will be a while before a new Elder Scrolls game comes out), that will likely be a long way away from now.... unfortuneatly.

There were, especially in the starter area, a few too many crucified corpses by the side of the road. after the 5th they lose their impact. This contrasts with the abandoned cabin containing the dead child and note "the animals are evil they ate mommy and daddy". That, I felt, had an impact.
The other atmospheric choice that I have some difficulty with is the arrangement of populations. Riverville, Duneville, Frostcliff Tavern, and the farmers coast are the only significantly populated areas on the map. There are, however, many destroyed settlements everywhere. After walking through the heartland a few times I came to the conclusion that at least half the population of enderal is already dead. I feel that is a bit much. Additionally there appeared to be a few too many indicators of human habitation in the frostcliff mountains (the dark valley gave me the impression of the unexplored wilderness so i expected frostcliff, which lies beyond, to be uninhabited). It may have been nice to see an intact farm every once in a while.
All of the above said I deeply enjoyed the setting of enderal. Many of the complaints I have I only noticed because I cared about where I was and what surrounded me. I felt like I was in an actual place instead of a setting for my next crossbow duel with a dragon or game of bandit volleyball.
Don't get your hopes too high. When SureAI started making total conversions for Elder Scrolls titles, they were still in school, or later studying at university. They had a lot more free time back then than now with full-time jobs in most cases. Guess the good times are over.
When asked, they didn't rule out the possibility of a new game, but Enderal might very well have been the last one they made.
