Sorry if this is looking likea double post but I moved here to see if I can find an answer

I'm just not getting this leveling point system it seems,.. OR maybe I broke it I used the Ciri armour mod just because I like that gear. Any way I have 40 somit (sorry remembering numbers is hard now days) armour from talents and books, giving me about 68 armour with bonus's, I found some parts of the wandering Mage, which is nice looking stuff so I try it on (3 peices) and notice I end up with a -30 armour rating I read 5 books and get it to -21 so next level I read 5 more books and end up with again a -30 red armour rating so I have no idea what I'm ment to do. Strangely I disabled the mod and the player house I have loaded the game and bugger me if my char is still wearing her armour even tho the mod is not loaded and it's not a default armour from the game. Just don't get that at all

Yeah, I saw your post (a week ago?) but didn't know what to tell you. Still don't, but maybe a reply will get an expert's attention?

Long shot, but do you know anyone who can edit your save? Above my level-- never learned. : )

If not mistaken, when you uninstall a mod, game will say "Warning missing objects, etc." and you can still play. Problem is it's simply saving that you have missing stuff from a mod.

i.e. once a mod is in your save, it's in there to stay. Unless maybe save itself can be edited... On that one I'm not sure, but would be interesting to find out. Can a save be cleaned up to remove stuff that's dorking up armor class for example?

Been like 8 years since I've been into this which is eons in tech world.

Have a lot of catching up to do. ; )

OK, this won't solve your problem, but it might give you some ideas. Early during the German release, there was a nasty bug where, after you entered a certain dungeon, you would get a pop-up that said (in German) these walls look fragile . . ." And it wouldn't go away. Even after a patch removed that language from the game files, it seems it was embedded in save games, so I had to delete some very specific data files and delete all quick saves & auto saves. This reference shows you what I'm talking about. You might have a similar problem where that armor mod is embedded into your saves. I don't have a clue what to do but maybe you or someone might get some ideas from this.

Give us a URL for the aforementioned mod. Attach your mods list and your load order.

If you see an armour on your character, then it means that meshes/textures are still there, which, in turn, means you didn’t uninstall the mod correctly. Save files contain only IDs of items. If you don’t see it, but SkyUI shows it as equipped, then, perhaps, your save is corrupt. Attach it here.

Number 24 on your list – CiriOutfit.esp – this is the mod you said you had uninstalled.

Number 28 – SkyUI.esp – you shouldn’t have installed SkyUI, because it’s been already merged into Enderal (misising files – ’twas fixed in 1.1.3.0). Ignore LOOT warnings that some mods require that ESP.

That’s it for now, but I wouldn’t be surprised if some of those ESPs weren’t compatible with Enderal.

I only put CiriOutfit back when I found it wasn't taking out the armour when I uninstalled it and it did not change the issue I had with
that armour working and giving me a green armour rating while the Wandering Mage set gave me a -30 armour rating. This whole thing was really about the standard in game armours giving me a red - number as an armour rating when I tried some I had found on I have 50 somit in my Light armour if I remember rightly. I only put SkyUI in to shut Loot up so I will remove it

Pack your save (with 7zip, for instance) and attach it here.

Also, you forgot to provide a list of your mods (not ESPs).

I had a couple of days away sorry. I uninstalled SkyUI, (Hopefuly the font size inthe stats menu (H) is not to big) the Log Cabin and Ciri and everything worked fine. After reactivating the log
cabin (which has some armours made with niew ID's from Calia's arnour(I like the look of it)) I get a -2 in red to the Wandering Mage set. Could this be due to my maybe getting the armour rating in the cabin mod a little high? I tend to load armours a little now days as I'm to slow for most beaties and end up tanking a lot.

I'm trying to remember what I used to get a full mod list and I can still pack my save if you feel it's still needed I just don't want to waste your time at all if theres a simple answer to the armour thing. I would not have thought armours would effect each other, that their stats would be totaly unique to each armour
