I have two problems actually because one led to the other. I have the latest update as of a few minutes ago installed. During the quest Word of the Dead when talking to (my brother?) in the dead guys memories at the house, my character freezes and refuses to say his next line. i normally have to ctrl alt delete to sign out because the pc crashes so bad. Looking for a solution I thought i'd update the game from the launcher because I havent done it in a couple of days. When the launcher restarted itself after applying the update, it crashed right away and still crashes when I try to open it. Of course, I can still start the game with the Skse launcher, but I keep trying and crash everytime in this exact same spot while talking to my brother.

Skyrim play very well normally otherwise. I don't use any mod manager. I have a quad core with 8 gigs of ram.. it shouldn't be a requirements issue. Any ideas? Thanks!

Can I bump this? - Problem is folks I cannot play the game at all now (I'm level 29) because I have lost the ability to update it which I Will need you know.. as they are still fixing major bugs.

How can I solve this problem and get a working Launcher to work? I have tried replacing the current launcher with the same file I originally downloaded " Enderal Launcher.exe " It's version 1.1.0.0. Is there a new launcher that may work?

Is there a way to manualy download and install the updates without the launcher.? My launcher crashes.

My level 29 character never had a problem with the launcher crashing untill after the 1.1.2.7 update patch ( according to the log)

It was on Restart of the launcher initiated by the launcher itself that I could no longer load the launcher and it would crash.

Perhaps I could uninstall the update without the launcher somehow and try again? Somehow undo the changes this update did that caused the launcher to break?

I am stuck in the middle of a quest that crashes to desktop in a dialog cutscene everytime, and I can't do other quest until a patch comes out to fix the quest bug. (there is no way out of this area until the quest continues) Please help!

You have to give more information about the crash during thze cutscene otherwise I can't help you.
Which scene? Reproducible? Mods/ENBs disabled? etc.
