Entropic Blood - Is it broken? - by fefejooj

I got entropic blood and I think it's either broken or I didn't got how to use it.

So, we need to press "Z" use it to slow the time and aim at an enemy, then we press "Z" again to control him, leading him to have a green gas around his body, right?

I do exactly this, but at 99% of times, the enemies keeps attacking me while he has a green gas around them and the enemies don't explode after getting killed during the effect. I noticed that this started to happen after I applied a second memory point on it. Am I doing something wrong or is this spell broken?

Also, there is no way that this is caused by a level restriction because the same bug happens with low level enemies and the spell by itself rarely works at all.

Hm, I had some troubles with this spell on my playthrough, but after putting some hours into fixing it, it worked. Do you use any mods? He definitely shouldn't attack you, I never had that problem. I'm not in Europe until late fall, so I won't be able to look into it. I suggest filing a bug-ticket, and I will point one of the still active devs your way.

The only mod I use is Enderal by itself, but well, while playing with the skill I noticed that Holding the "shout" button after marking enemies to apply the effect seems to cause this problem.

What I did to get it working most of time was Holding the shout button to apply the third tier of the spell & slowmo effect, then tapping the shout button after marking the enemies rather than holding it again.

It still "fails" sometimes, but it's nothing compared when I hold the shout button after marking the enemies. Despite of they attacking me sometimes (probably because of some companion/summoned creature already attacking them), the enemies still explodes instead of dying with the green gas effect attached on them.. Perhaps this is the reason I started to have this problem after I put a second mem point in the spell.

Anyway, I've opened a ticket in the bugtracker before creating this thread, but I was wondering if I was doing something wrong as I accidentally skipped the tutorial texts of the spell during a battle against some wild mages with those goddamned fireball staffs. IMO, it's the most badass memory spell of the game.
