Game crash - First loading to Vyn - by c4n1n

Hi there,

I've been playing the game for a bit, and it keeps crashing at the same time, when you go to Vyn for the first time (loading screen,

[+]: after the earth elemental

).

The game keeps crashing after ~20s of loading even in very low quality, wherever I sneak or

[+]: kill the earth elemental

, when I go to the light to teleport to Vyn.

To make the game work I uninstalled Skyrim completed and re-downloaded it, then added Enderal, then SKSE on steam.

It seems like I cannot upload the .dmp file from the crashdump SKSE folder, any data from SKSE folder that could be useful ?

Wonderful game as far as I could get

I tried this method and it worked

Download this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/75795/?
Place it into your \common\Skyrim folder
Go to \common\Skyrim\Data\SKSE\Plugins
Open CrashFixPlugin.ini
Change UseOSAllocators=0 to 1 save

Hi again,

Sadly, it didn't work. I updated to 1.2.2.7 before lauching tough, but it still crashes after about 20s of loading to Vyn t.t
Thanks for the message anyway duh.

I copy past what I got in the skse file in My documents\..., maybe it makes sense to someone

Hey,

SKSE is already included in Enderal, there may be some problems if you install it from Steam after Enderal added its own - I am not sure if we changed something in SKSE's settings but that would be my first bet.

Hi,

Tryed removing SKSE from steam, uninstalling Enderal, re-install it (not with backup), but still doesn't work.
I guess i'll try another "uninstall everything - reinstall everything" without SKSE later.

By the way, when I'm finished uninstalling Skyrim, I can delete everything in My Games\Skyrim, before installing it again I guess ? I don't know if some remnant of SKSE can still be there.

Does it crash with the newest launcher and patches?
Things that could help against CTDs during loading screens:

OneTweak enabled/disabled (try it out)
Change CPU and RAM usage
Change all settings to low, then try to zone out,
Deleting all autosaves from your savegame folder and disabling the autosave function
Change the HUD opacity to 0%. Change it back after the certain loading screen.
