Greetings,
I decided to register to the forums for this issue I'm having, basically I did a full clean new instal of Skyrim and then Enderal when it was first released and played the game completely fine for about 12 hours with maybe 2 CTD's in that time. (About to be expected from Skyrim in my experience.) But since 1/2 days ago the latest patches (hard to tell which one) I'm suddenly crashing between 10 and 30 minutes of playtime, constantly. It's insane, I wish I could just rollback a couple of versions
I don't know what I can do to help figure out what the problem is but I felt I should report this, it's made me very sad to basically be rendered unable to play Enderal any more.
edit* Ps. I am not using any other mods or anything like that, nothing has changed since I started playing and now except for the updates and that I noticed in the settings it was set to using 2 cores and I switched to 8 cores, which seemed to make the loading times a bit faster... I'm not sure if this also can affect the crashes since it seemed to help a lot with performance.
edit** Good news for now, I decided to test if it was the cores, switched them back down to 2 and while I took a significant hit in my performance and load times I managed to play for an hour without a crash (all the time I had), once I have more time to play I'll report back in, in the mean time it would be nice to get some feedback like "it's a bad idea to use over 2 cores, skyrim wasn't made to handle something like that" or if that should not be the problem at all...
