My problem is, that there is no longer any music playing in game, be it exploration or combat music. Also, there is no sound on discovering new locations. Any way to fix it?

On an earlier save (different character) everything works ok.

It seems that for some time I have no exploration music in my game. I created a save at Cemetery near Ark and when I load it everything worked fine. Then I created a new character and played it for like 2 hours and saved it. Then I went back to my old save, and went south to the place where wisps are, and explored some locations there on the peninsula. After an hour I noticed that there is no music playing and no sounds when discovering new locations.
Any way to fix it? Could it be caused that I walked up to the place with that closed gate and petrified bodies there, which I presume is something for mainquest later on?

Console command: You get a list of all "silence tracks" with their respective ID. (You can scroll up and down with the key [page up] and [pagedown])
Now you have to test which "silence is playing" by simply typing in: without quotation marks.
