Out of all the times I thought this function was useless, I have never been so wrong. Running around Ark looking for the Inn/Bar I left Lishari at after the quest in the Prydean ruins for hours(No exaggeration). Will there be any update in the future that provides dialogue for the guards regarding where specific locations are and in which district? Also, where's that bar?

The Bar where mostly all important characters chill in the breaks between the quests is the big taverne in the foreign quarters.

Expect for those who hang out in the second one in Nobles Quarter. Luckily you don't have to look for them in the Undercity too often.

I have to agree with the OPs sentiments. It is taking me a very long to time to learn my way around in ARK. Having guards that give directions would be a welcome addition. Also, having guards that for the most part, didn't speak until spoken to, would be much better than the incessant "Mysir" and "Yes?" as you pass by.
