There's so much more complaining on the English forum. Not just now, but for years. I find that strange. I'm sure they'll release the English version when they're ready. After so many years, what's a few more days?

It releases when it releases. SureAI don't owe us anything, they're making this free of charge with their own time and money. It releases when it releases, and we're not in a position to demand a faster release. Wait like everybody else and stop complaining.

"its near:)" that's enough to complain about.

Developers sometimes don't give precise release dates. It's because they're not sure exactly when it will be ready, and people are so impatient and salty that if a release date is given and then missed, they'll go crazy. They say it's near, it's near, that's all they can say for sure. Don't presume that you understand the development process better than actual developers.

I have not presumed any of the sort. My complaint is that if no date is established, saying that it is near or that it is coming soon, only gives an opening for uncertainty. Say nothing. Like what was said before the DE release.

But it's just rude to simply ignore people asking, and if they remained silent people would no doubt STILL flip about it, presuming that they've abandoned the project. They're telling the truth, that it's coming soon, because there's no need to lie or remain silent. As I said, it's rude. People just need to be patient and understand that it's not as easy as they think to say EXACTLY when something will be finished.

Shh.. There's no need to complain about complaining. Obviously SureAI didn't know when the English version would really be ready. For all their professionalism they're still just a team of hobbyists. It's easy to forget that simple fact.

It's only a day or two away, possibly less, we're in the final stretch now and it'd be a shame if the discussion soured this close to release.

Dude, you have no reason to complain. They do what they want, when they want and how they want. Did you pay any money for Enderal or did they demand donations ? Remember that this is a free project and you should be thankful that they make an English version for all of us to access to the mod. Even if they decide to abandon the English version now, we still don't have any reason to hate or complain about that. They said they gonna release it before 15, now it's 13 for god sake you cannot wait for 1-2 days at most. And the reason they keep "teasing" us with the tweets is that you all keep asking about it, if you don't ask, they don't "tease". So my best advice is that you stay away from media related to Enderal if you can't handle the tease. I also wait for the English version, but I am sick of the way you complain about things that you don't have any right to demand.

It was soured when the EV was delayed. I never cared to watched the twitter feed before the 1st of August and I'm sure more people are right there with me on that. Yes they are a group of hobbyist but teasing us with very vague posts is not cool or professional. And again I would like to state that there is a working EV. Give us the version you gave to PC Gamer and everyone will stop complaining and go play your wonderful product.

They will release it when they want to release it, as simple as that. Grovelling and complaining, especially with THAT attitude, will get you nowhere. Be quiet.

So very true...and for a slight change of topic and a laugh it turns out that installing a clean, fresh version of skyrim ready for this and then clicking continue while forgetting that the last saves are in Enderal, works perfectly, but rather amusingly... as you start a few hundred feet up in the air wearing nothing but underwear and it's quite a good view from up there watching as the ground rushes towards you at great speed.

Very good visuals of what it must have looked like for the whale in Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, just had to keep restarting and enjoying the laugh

I'm just saying, take a breather, check back in 24 hrs. And you might be pleasantly surprised. If you're not surprised, at most you'll lose 2 minutes of your life over it.

I don't really agree with the people stating we'd have no reason to complain if the EV were to be canned entirely, as that's the other side of the matter, but I sincerely doubt that entire endeavor will be cancelled suddenly, considering the amount of effort that went into it.

Besides, I'm sure Caleb wouldn't tease us like this if he didn't have something planned for the next few days

In two days it wont matter as much. People have jobs and real life begins again. It will just add to the anticipation of being able to delve into Enderal next Friday. Yes Yes poor me I know.

I understand. I had last Friday off and would've absolutely loved a Thursday EV release so I could play it over the weekend. Alas, it was not meant to be. At least we'll be enjoying a more bug free experience due to the patch 1.1 that was released earlier today.

SureAI didn't tease us here. They tried to calm down the audience.

And why don't they do release their actual version just now?
Because they are artists! They want to be proud of their work, their baby, their Enderal! Because they love their work, their baby, their Enderal!
To create a perfect piece of art is a horrible thing with software developement, because it's impossible to reach perfection in a computer game. 8)

Give them a chance to do their best. They need the time for the last perfect stroke of the brush.
