Yep I confirm...installing Steam fixed it.

Holly fckn shit..... IT WAS the steam services indeed.... Just opened it and retried installation and boom! it worked. I can't just believe it... but its working and I'll be able to play in like 5 minutes. To think I was sooooo pissed off yesterday by that shit...

PD: By the way, I'm no programmer, but seriously, this is a big error, not even opening the launcher so we can know what is wrong

The Steam issue was confusing me at first because I have steam, but I remembered that I and many other people with middling PCs often disable any and every non-necessary background program and service. It also seems to work fine in offline mode, so you can have an instance of steam just to play enderal, and kill it when you quit. sucks, but so far it's a huge, beautiful game, for free.
