Ok you can slow down the graphics ..it doesnt matter .Nehrim is very cpu hard..means the old oblivion engine doesnt work so good as in oblivion (performance).. The Cities in Nehrim have no Doors..no once worldspace. The cities are "in" the landscape ..so when you are outside ..your pc must handle the cities too ..its too much
You can slow down the graphics as u want ..doesnt matter
i have a
Phenom x4 2,2 ghz
Ati HD 4850
4gb RAM , i can play mafia 2,gta IV on highest settings with good performance..
Nehrim fails in optimization

Hi.
I have noticed a little increase in FPS. Have not played in a few days, been trying to teach myself some modding. Only 2 things done different. 1 is download new patch and 2 I turned my setting on my monitor to game mode.
And yes have to agree with Mr Energy above, as I think I intimated a couple of times about diff between Oblivion and Nehrim. But no harm in trying to get best out of your system. Also Mr.Energy you gave me an idea for increasing playability around towns. This worked for me, because FPS around Erothin is more like an avg 30+ now, a couple of dips to 18/19. If you are going into a town you know hits your fps, just "tll" in the console. No need for distant landscapes.

"tll" is mostly for the lag in the Dark Forest, not for the Erothin lag.
Hi, everybody
Do you have some news about performance fix? Maybe smb. stays in touch with the developers of Nehrim and could share with us what is their plans. Will they solve performance problem in towns or leave the game as is?
PS:Sorry for my English. Wrote with love from Russia
