Well, maybe someone else would want to try his hands at this puzzle.
To make the English ESP we used the "Import Script Messageboxes" feature of the CS to get those messages translated. Theoretically this should affect only the content of the messageboxes - not the actual scripts themselves.
We recompiled the scripts (automatically in 1.0.8.0, manually in 1.0.8.1).
Each time the same bug: after one opens one's diary, one gets permanent message spam by empty messages (that's why the real messages never appear) in the English version. There is nothing comparable in the German version.
Any ideas?

Yes, 1.0.8.2 is going to be released soon.

This isn't a problem in the German version, correct? I'm assuming you'll just lump this fix in with the fixes that were already planned for 1.08.2.

Yes, the German version doesn't have this bug. (It, too, will be updated in 1.0.8.2, but not significantly. The only other major fix is the Erothin bank account.)

Great news. I really don't miss the extra money in the bank, but it'll be nice to get the messages back.
