I think some elemental rock/paper/scissors could make spell casting more interesting, such as fire being strong against trolls and spiders, ice strong against reptiles, or shock strong against ghosts and golems. Judging by what they've done with the existing spells, I think some more interesting ones would also be quite possible. Perhaps things like a persistent AoE wall of fire, an aura that slows or damages enemies, or telekinetic spell that works like the gravity gun. I've also noticed that spell effectiveness scales up with your bonus endurance, so perhaps there could be mage items that directly increase spell effectiveness, and battle-mage items that reduces how much your spell effectiveness drops when fatigued.

Really, Nehrim is not Oblivion - especially not a heavily modded Oblivion with a three digit number of mods.
I hope that at least the "bigger" modders play the game to its end before porting mods that change large aspects of the game.

I happen to like mods, armor replacers, etc. That is why Oblivion and not Nehrim lives on and on and on. Honestly its nice to play a game through first but a modder doesn't have to play the entire game to see there is a need or want and then mod for it. Since I love taking screenshots also I have added a bit to the Nehrim already myself...I am having a great time. :)
