Any idea on a fix? Other than tcl? I mean, using the console isn't such a hassle, but the one thing I love about Nehrim is that it is so engrossing that I forget that I am playing a game. However, having to open the console to enter a dev. code to continue kind of ruins the fun just a bit.

It's not that big of an issue, obviously. I should add that what the developers have done has far exceeded my expectations. The few bugs I have run into are hardly game-ruining and can probably be more attributed to Bethesda than anything else. I just wanted to make this topic so the devs knew about it and could fix it if they ever got the chance.

Whatever bug is preventing the gates from opening, the next day the script runs anew. That's why I always say you should wait until the next day.

I ran into the same problem. I waited until 8am. Nothing happened. So I waited for another 23 hours. At 7 am I decided to sit and wait...but that took too long so I waited for another hour and it opened. Lol.

I recommend just waiting an extra day or two. After the first time, there hasn't been another time where it wasn't opening for me.
