Are you sure you have DISABLED Oblivion.esm?

Absolutly positive.

Trust me, I've done everything in this thread and researched all other threads pertaining ot the 5:0000065434 error.

The only three esms that are on are the two Nehrim .esms and the english.esm.

Try googling for 5:0000065434. This seems to be a known issue with Steam.
So you get the standard Oblivion prison items when you start a new Nehrim game? Then you MUST have Oblivion.esm or an Oblivion mod loaded somehow. I have no idea how Steam works, but what happens if you temporarily rename Oblivion.esm so that the game doesn't find it?

Simply use a different *cough* v1.2.416 [ENGLISH] executable, rename this new thing to myoblivion.exe and associate it with an desktop icon.

I can't even start the game =( just dies on double click.
