There are 3 view options, the real "full screen mode", the "frameless window mode" (looks like full screen) and the real "window mode" you have described
Try these 3 with a resolution of 1920... to see what works best for you,
then try again the options as you like, but only change one option at a time.
2560x1440 should only be tried when everything else is stable.
