I'm on the quest "Word of the Dead" and the moment the attackers spawn (I get a red dot on my compass but cannot see any enemies) the game freezes and has to be closed with taskmanger. I have Papyrus logs enabled but because the game doesn't crash I get no logs.

I tried disabling all other mods(SkyrimSpeeds & SameWalkRunSpeedsLite), lowering graphics to a minimum and disabling OneTweak to no avail.

Here is a zip file with a quicksave just before the crash, and a regular save just before entering the memory.

Any suggestions/solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Just tested, the 1.1.2.4 update released today had no effect.

Do you have experimental multithreading active? If so, deactivate and try again.

Lowering HUD opacity could also work, not sure on that though.

Ya, I tried changing all the settings and what not. Didn't help.
No change with the 1.1.2.6 update that literally just released.

I feel like it has something to do with the enemies spawning in as it is 100% consistent and repeatable.

I let it sit frozen for a bit to see if it would crash the game to no avail. I do however have Papyris logs from the last 3 test for the new patches. I'm not sure exactly what to look for and they are massive. At the end it looks like something to do with shaders maybe?

It could be the autsave that is causing the freeze. Disbale them. Check if it's freezing again.

If it's still freezing check out the attached save.
(you will get a warning about a missing file: don't care about it)
