So I've just started the Team Spirit quest and went to Giliad to investigate the missing person. Some fella runs up to me to tell me about it in Giliard. I accidently told him I wasn't interested, and now he refuses to help me at all. Must have hurt his feelings.

Could someone tell me where I should go? The guy sure as heck won't.

Not positive but I think you are just going to have to go back to a previous save. I think once you tell him you aren't interested, that's it.

You could try the mayor's house. The quest has to do with his daughter.

The more I think about it though, maybe I am wrong. Perhaps you can still complete the quest. What did your quest update say? Anything interesting? If you want to know where you are ultimately going to end up in order to complete that quest, check my spoiler response in the thread below this one. You may be able to bypass everything and just head there. I am doubting that'll work though.

All the quest info says is "Someone wanted to talk to me about the missing person. I told him I was not interested". Is this quest vital to the main story quest?

Where does the guy (aka "torah"/"tomah" or something) tell you to go?

Oh, and where can I find the Mayor's house? Is it anywhere near Giliad?

EDIT Forget it, I'll just use console commands to end the quest. Does anyone know the Team Spirit "quest ID"? How would I find it?

I just went and replayed that part of the quest and you should be fine if you just talk to the Mayor (I think he is the Mayor, anyway...) Find "Markus' House" in Giliad and enter. It has a "red" (forbidden, stealing) icon but I didn't get into any trouble (I was in sneak mode though). Enter Markus' House and talk to him. The quest can be restarted from there. Though, and this will be interesting to find out, your initial interaction with Tomah may change how the quest plays out at the critical moment. If you get the chance, come back and tell us what happens once you find the girl. I would be interested to know if it is any different depending on the interaction with Tomah.

Thanks very much for your help. I found the mayor and managed to complete the quest - though for some reason, the cave hidden by the stone circle was locked and needed a key (couldn't be lock picked), so I ended up having ot use the console to open the cave entrance anyway.

I hate to keep being a bother, but now that quest is done, there doesn't seem to be anything left to do. I've completed the "search for my roots" quest where you head to Salen and discover

some mercenaries rescued you from the destruction of your village,

but I don't know what to do or who to talk to now, and the game isn't giving any prompts. Back at the Archane sanctuary, no one is giving me anything to do either. What the hell?

Wait, you mean Lerdur (sp?) correct? Not Salen. You have to do a short cave crawl in Lerdur before the "searching for my roots" quest is finished. And as I understand it, after that, there is nothing more to do with the "searching for my roots" quest. From what I have been able to gather, that was a questline that was abandoned by the game authors. Too bad cause it seemed kinda cool. There is a place and some folks still to find that are connected with your village being burned to the ground and parents murdered but it isn't part of the quest in terms of updates and such. If you really want to know who and where I can tell you.

As for what to do now. Well you can always take a break and just explore if you like but as for moving forward with the main quest - you really should have a quest update from EARLIER that is labeled "The path of the Gifted" that tells you to see "General Acorias." Just head back to the Sanctum and look for him in the "Templar's House" building. He is seated reading a book and will set you on your way for the main quest.

BTW, I am curious, did the townsfolk show up to help you fight off the creatures who kidnapped the mushroom girl in the team spirit quest? I am wondering if there is any difference given your interaction with Tomah. I told him I was there to help and he insulted me but told me to speak to the mayor and the later they all showed up to help me in the cave. I was also rewarded with a choice of one of four weapons upon completing the quest. Was the end result the same for you?
