Hello Masterakys
Have you installed Oblivion and Nehrim on drive C:\? (other drives sometimes cause problems)
delete the Oblivion-ini under: ...\Documents\my games\oblivion and under \Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion
Do you have any mods installed?, if so, there may be file scraps even after a fresh install.
Did you activate Oblivion before reinstalling Nehrim? (
Before uninstalling or repairing through Steam, Oblivion MUST always be activated first)
If not, the files may now be mixed, in which case I would delete the old folders and reinstall everything.
(these are under \Steam\steamapps\common: Oblivion; Nehrim; Oblivion_BACKUP).
You can also adjust some launcher settings for testing:
For example:
- Disable ENBoost and/or AltTabfix.
- Enable Fullscreen and HDR (or none), without V-Sync + 1920x1080 resolution
under Details and Visibility:
- downgrade shadow quality and some visibility distance
also on newer PC's, because the engine can't use today's hardware completely.
Can you try it again with an older save, so before Giliad or the spider cave?
(if necessary, you can wait 5-7 days outside the region, this solves most such problems).
Start steam and nehrim again.
Can you send us a save before, you can be found here:
We need the -.ess and the -.obse file of the same name, put both in a zip or rar archive (the forum does not accept -.obse otherwise).
If possible no autosaves or quicksaves, but a manually saved game.
Tip: save a lot, not only with quick- or autosave, but with many fixed savegames.
