Change the appearance of the leather cuirass

I like the appearance of the leather cuirass in this game, but I would like to add some leather strips so it can be worn without pants like ancient armor.
The problem is that I can't do it. When I try to do just import and export the .nif file from the manual in Nexusmod, the cuirass disappears from the game (the character's torso disappears when he wears this cuirass). When I did it with other armor from the original game, there was no such problem.
I assume that this .nif file is a modification for the game Nekhrim because I found it in the \Data\Meshes\Armor\leather\m folder. Could you help me add stripes or tell me how to add them correctly?
