Hi all,

I wanted to direct this to the SureAI team but also to anyone else interested. I would love to do a Let's Play of Nehrim as soon as the English translation is complete. My youtube channel can be found under the username: ReymasofAshborne (not gonna post a link cuz that'd be rude) and I am currently doing an LP of Heavily Modded Morrowind among several others. I was planning on a heavily modded Oblivion as well but another user named Bashur beat me to it and he is doing an amazing job! So having played both Arktwend and Cube Experimental (both amazing) I thought maybe I should do this once it is all ready.

Also, as a side question, are you planning on doing English voice acting or just text? If the former I would love to volunteer myself as a voice actor for any of the male roles. I can do English, Irish and Scottish accents flawlessly as well as a myriad of American dialects. Perhaps I shall upload some voice samples for you guys to see!

What I have seen of Nehrim so far has me very excited for this! Cheers!

Hi ReymasofAshborne, welcome to the forum!

Afaik the EV of Nehrim is in work, just mind you that the span of text to be translated as well as possible includes over 94000 words, which is more than most book editors' job. As a result, you'll probably have to be patient for quite a while.

English voice acting would seem like a nice idea, the team is reluctant to accept English voice actors though. That is because of bad experiences they had with amateur voice acts for the earlier projects. Nehrim's voice acting is performed by professional actors and a voluntary recording studio. For now, the plan is to just translate the subtitles and books/signs, keeping the original voices. This seems to be the more agreeable method regarding the quality.

I hope I didn't misquote the team :P

I am not an amateur voice actor, heh, but I do not have direct access to a professional recording studio for free so that makes perfect sense.

I would still LP it with the German voices as long as the text was English, and I could at least read it! Very, very excited and thanks for the swift reply!
