HIGH Ones

Much was made about the nature and motivations of the mysterous "High Ones" in Enderal, but I think the most reasonable conclusion can be derived if we compare them to entities of similar stature and naming conventions. "Veiled Woman" is called like that because she is visibly veiled, "Aged Man" because he is visibly aged, so the "High Ones" are called like that because they are visibly high!

- They appear as creatures overtaken by them and the visible clue are red eyes
- They also appear as creatures made of misty, ill-defined hazy supstance, one could say smokey
- They never act physically but they do talk A LOT
- Cycle refers to blunt rotation as it circles around the group of High Ones
- Their main motivation is to "light" something, an object where black substance is placed on trays akin to buds on a bong and then lit
- They devour the conciousnesses of the entire civilizations because they've got the munchies

So the solution for the threat they represent would simply be to destroy all peaceweed crop and then they will just be "Ones", which sounds far less threatening and they won't get the munchies anymore.
