How can I make edits on the Enderal wiki?

I want to make edits to certain wiki pages but I can't figure out how, I have created an account here on the forum and supposedly I should be able to use that to log in on the wiki, but I can't, it says I don't have a valid username.

The same data you use for the forum is also used for editing the wiki, you just have to log in there separately.
If the error message "wrong username" appears, something has been written differently.
Or e.g. an incorrect name/password has been saved when using a password manager?

That can't be it, I have typed out both the password and username manually both on the wiki and on the forum several times now, it only works on the forum and not on the wiki, it's really weird.

Could you maybe describe in detail step by step how one is supposed to create an account on the forum that is also useable on the wiki, maybe I've missed something that makes it so that I can't log into the wiki.

there is no difference when logging in, a created account can always be used for both,
but we have notified our admin if it is due to possible special characters and name lengths

Alright, I decided to create a new account and now I can log into the wiki, it seems the problem was the special characters like you suggested, Thanks so much for your help!
