Hey there, I've disabled onetweak and made sure the forcefullscreen references in the ini =false, but whenever i set the launcher settings to fullscreen, the moment i click Save Settings, I can see it automatically revert to the windowed selection before it closes. Pulling m hair out on this one can't find anyone who has this problem that wasnt solved by turning off onetweak or setting the forcefullscreen settings to false. Any help is appreciated, i really want to enjoy this lovely game.

Welcome to the forum
Which ini did you change manually and why? Usually this is not necessary.
Have you checked if a write protection is enabled and maybe causes problems?
Are you using a modmanager?

Hey there
I didn't end up changing anything as the settings were set to what I had seen other people reporting this problem changed them too by default.
The files aren't set to read-only, and write protection is disabled.
I'm not using a mod manager but I did install two mods, but have been playing in fullscreen fine until the latest update and now am restricted to windowed for some reason

Try to disable ENBoost.
It is set by default to be borderless full sreen forced (enblocal.ini).
Alternatively (that would still give you the benefits of ENBoost) set in the enblocal.ini (Windows) the lines
ForceBorderless=true
ForceBorderlessFullscreen=true
to false.
