[bug] "Long Way to the Top" quest broken

I've descended to the mother fungus and destroyed it, but "investigate the strange smell" is still incomplete and the NPC Menhur Huriyas doesn't interact with me. He said something about the spores lasting in the soil when I first approached, but I cannot talk to him further and I cannot open the locked door back to Farmers Coast to continue.

update: I restarted the game, and now the NPC continues his dialog but when it finishes he ignores me again and the trap door remains locked.

We also need the skse file and better a manual (no quick- or auto-) save.
Pack them to a rar or zip archive and attach them to a post here

You have unfortunately saved in a very unfavorable moment.
At this point, the conversation actually triggers on its own, whereby errors have crept in due to the termination. If you don't have a save before destroying the mushroom, at least one option in this quest is blocked. If he loses down there, he would actually die and you would only have the chance to find a key that doesn't appear in your case.

But I was able to continue playing one of the options without further incidents,
