The Lions Den Quest Crash

Hello I am having a crash after the nightmare sequence in the quest the lion's den. I tried to find other fixes, but was recommended here. It crashes right after the screen turns black when the fight starts and they say "play with us". Any help is appreciated as I am in love with this game and desperately want to continue thank you so much for any assistance. I am playing the special edition with no additional mods and this did happen three times.

What possible solutions have you tried?
Have you tried overcoming the problem with an older save?
Have you checked your game through Steam for possible corrupted files?

Hello thank you for your reply. At first I thought it was a graphical issue, since went it crashes my screen flashes black. I switched it to windowed mode on low graphics and it still has happened.
I just went to verify the files on steam, there was one corrupted file and steam reinstalled that. I tried it again from a further back save, the previous cutscene. Ended in the same result of the crash. I checked the files again after the crash and they were all still good. Unsure what else to do and thank you again.

Send us the two saves you tested with. Then we can check whether we can reproduce your error.
We need the .ess and the .skse file.
Preferably from a manual hardsave (no auto- or quicksave) if possible.
Since the forum software does not accept .skse format as an attachment, it is best to pack the whole thing as a .zip or .rar archive.

The Lion's Den is already completed in your save 111.
I can't say what's causing the crash for you.

But I'll send you a suitable save directly after the scene with Daddy.
You are on a boat with Jespar and the next part of the main quest starts.
