Combat is broken

I wanted this game to be good. I really did.
I gave up at the first fistfight though.
Why?
When you start your swing, you can't move until the entire animation will have finished plus another half sec or so.
On the other hand, your companion and your enemies can move around freely and swing their arms constantly during combat.
So, what happens when you play it on the hardest difficulty?
Yes, you got beat every time. It was not tested on the hardest difficulty, was it?

The game started out very well (looks, music, story), but the fact that combat is broken just killed it for me.

Please fix combat and reply here with a youtube video showing that the fistfight was won on the hardest difficulty without cheating.
