Just checked a few totals, as of now:
Enderal English forum 6776 posts
Enderal German forum 21742 posts

For comparison, Nehrim (released over 6 years ago):
English forum 8312 posts
German forum 27445 posts.

So Enderal has had nearly as many posts in 6 months as Nehrim had in 6 years.

There was quite an active forum for some months after Enderal was released. By now, many have played through once or more and gone on to other games. Also, there are probably fewer posts now as so many questions have already been asked and answered. I suspect many are waiting for the DLC to come out, and I suspect forum activity will pick up again at that time.

All of which has nothing to do with bound weapons, but getting off topic is an old forum tradition, sorry.

Mac,

This forum has died down a bit. As was said, many players have moved on to other games. badgesareus is a regular who also hangs at the Nehrim forum, thankfully, and has gotten me out of some jams in that game.

You might find more activity at the Enderal forum on Reddit, although that too has slowed a bit. Some of the Sureai team read that as well.

Thank you.

I ran across that forum a little while ago. It's such a weird format though, know what I mean? ...maybe not for those used to it but as a long time forum Admin, myself, I am quite comfortable with the structure and format of this forum and prefer it.

Agreed. Reddit is a bit different as forums go, and I haven't fully figured it out yet. But I have gotten very good answers to questions left there, and its certainly useful to search through the message database.

As for activity, when I just checked a moment ago there were a total of 6 people reading all the sections of this forum, and 16 at the Enderal Reddit forum. And with only one Reddit forum for this game, as opposed to 7 here, you are likely to get more eyes on your question quicker there.

But i still don't understand if there's a way to enhance them through a higher level of enchantment or if there are other spell tomes that relate to even stronger bound weapons.

As for looking it up...where?

(...) the wiki leaves a lot to be desired and there are no forums to speak of, save this one...and it often leaves me wondering if anyone beside you and me and about two other people are reading it.
As i understand it, "Summoned Weapons" (or "Bound Weapons" as i will probably refer to them sometime by mistake) are standardised - they do X damage for Y time and then vanish. I could be wrong, though, and it might be affected by your skill%. It is affected by Dual-casting, though, in terms of duration. I dont know of any "Summon Better Bohemian Ear-Spoon"-type spells, i havent come across any.

As for look it up, that is the link to where i found the info. You click on the link text and it automagically takes you and your browser there...

As for "leaving a lot to be desired", well - Improve it, dear Liza, Dear Liza. These things don't come about by Divine Fiat (aka "A Wizard Done It"), a Wiki needs people willing to devote time to typing in information, organising it and/or making sure that Said Stuff is Correct. And Enderal only really came out about 5 minutes ago, wheres Skyrim came out many hundreds of years ago and has About a Hundred Thousand Gazillion People writing/modding/playing it...

(I may be Slightly out with the numbers...)

I haven't used summoned weapons but I did read every spell book I found, so I have quite a large number of spells available which I don't use. I recently visited my spellbook and just for fun checked on my summoned weapons spells for axe, bow and sword. There are (at least) 5 levels for each. The level 1 spell creates a level 5 summoned weapon. Each additional spell level creates a summoned weapon 10 levels higher; i.e., the level 2 spell creates a level 15 weapon, the level 5 spell creates a level 45 weapon. I don't know the specific effects of increasing weapon levels, but I would assume that, like normal weapons, increased levels = increased damage.

Thank you...a great answer but the basic question remains (at least for me) "relative to what?"

What is a level 15 weapon? How much damage does it do?

At level 16 now, I have weapons that inflict 14 damage and weapons that inflict 22 damage. Would a level 2 spell create a weapon that does 14 damage or 22 damage? Or, since I've had the superior great sword since level 12 (IIRC) something even stronger?

How much damage does it do?
It depends on your skill level for bow, 1H or 2H (it may also depend on other things such as particular talents, I don't know). When you summon a weapon, after it appears in your hand, open your inventory page and click on the weapons column. At the very bottom of the page (to the left of "carry weight") it shows the damage of your equipped weapon, i.e., the weapon you have just summoned. You may have to move your cursor around a bit, especially over the left-hand column listing your weapons.

Examples: For me, my archery skill at 107:
level 5 bound bow damage 131, level 1 bound bow damage 53.

2H skill at level 52:
level 4 bound battleaxe damage 70.

For comparison, another one of my characters with archery skill level 83:
level 5 bound bow damage 85, level 1 bound bow damage 37.
