Forgotten Homeland: Part III

I've gotten to the point where, after running from the Steel Dragon, the gate closes in front of me and now Calia and I are looking for another way out. But the quest pointer just points to the middle of the room, Calia just wanders around, and I can't find anything to interact with beyond the chain that doesn't do anything.

Am I missing something here?
