Hello,
I have a problem with skill books in enderal. When I consume them it shows me that I've leveled wit skill but nothig else changes. It deosn't matter if I upgrade my one handed skill from 15-35 damage i make still is the base number of 8 (for the steel sword) the same is for light armor and persuasion (i didn't check rest of skills).
Does anyone know what should I do? I would like to play enderal but with bug like this I won't be able to play it.

In general, I would ask about any mods you might be using and for a save (please attach both save files in an archive).
However, based on your description, I'd say everything works as intended.
The skill number provides a bonus in addition to the base damage of a weapon / skill /spell, which does not change - thus, the better the weapon, the higher the bonus will be.
For the game, it means you have to upgrade not only skills, but also weapons, armour, arrows, and spells.
