Arcane Archer Affinity without magic effects

Hello,

i have 10 points in Trickster, 10 in Sinistrophe and 4 in Infiltrator.

As soon as i got points for affinity my class changed to Arcane Archer, but there is no bonus to Archery, or paralyzing arrows in Eye of the storm. Also no magic effects.

This is my second playthrough. First time i played as Black Mage, where bonuses for affinity worked fine.

I am up to date.1.2.2.1.

do you have any mods installed?


could you upload a savegame?
found in ..\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Saves,
we'll need the skse and the ess of a manual (no quick- or auto-) save,
pack them to a rar or zip archive and attach them to a post here

(I know absolutely nothing about the affinities,
so I can't directly help you there, sorry :/ )

I fixed it with Amnesia shrine mod.
Removed all memory points and puting them only to Trickster and Sinister.
Worked like a charm.
Maybe putting points in Infiltrator tree in the beginning of the game caused the glitch.

I am using Icecap mod - Ice cap increases 11 carry weight instead of 1.
Still sending you my saved game, maybe it will help you to fix it for everybody else.

Sorry for going off-topic but I simply do not understand why the Icecap mod? With so many of those around, why not just install a mod or console that makes everything weigh nothing? One of the good challenges of games is to having to manage inventory, including choosing how to allocate/dispose of weight.

I played through the game several times, wanted to try something diferent.
You still need to manage your inventory.
No weight mod is too much.

We change how the script works in Forgotten Stories and won't fix anything related to the affinities at the moment. If you find issues with affinities after the release of FS, please report the again. Thanks.
