Enderal Installation / Update problem

Hello SureAI i have been trying to get your game to work for the past two days and I finally decided to come to y'all for help ok so. The thing is I am stuck the launcher says my version is up to date but I know it is not but it says it is can you help me please. If you need anything just ask thank you. In short it is not detecting the latest update but it is connected to your servers.

PS this was meant to be in the enderal forum sorry for that new to this site don't know where to go just saw the word skyrim and thought to go there.

Which version is displayed in the launcher (the current patch is 1.2.0.7, Launcher A63)?

You can try to start the update process again:

-Close the Enderal launcher.
-Run a text editor like Notepad++.
-Open up your conf.sur with the text editor.
-The file is located in your game directory ...\Skyrim\EnderalLauncher\system\config\conf.sur.
(C:\program files(x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\Skyrim\EnderalLauncher\system\config\conf.sur being the default path of your installation if Skyrim was installed via Steam).
-Edit the line sCurrentVersion=x.x.x.x to sCurrentVersion=1.1.0.0 and save the file.
-Run the launcher as admin and install the patches again.

Hey thank you for replying i have already done all that i have been looking for solutions all over the web for the past two days and i think i found something i found a old post that was posted on the sureAI website forums where one of the people on it gave the person links to the updates to download them manually. I will say something if it does not work thank you.

Hey back again it did not work and one thing i forgot to mention was that when i try to launch the game from the launcher it says "enderal needs an update first" but i am back to square one the launcher does not want to detect the update.

PS: the launcher is version 1.1.0.0 thank you.

Ok i got it to come up the game that is but the update still wont come up it wont detect it. I got the game to come up by following something someone else did that is copying the skyrim.esm file to the data folder but now when it comes up i try to hit new game the text that says explore enderal does not come up for some reason and even if i hit yes anyway it just leaves me on the main menu screen does not go anywhere stays there. And how i knew the new game option says explore enderal because i saw people make lets plays of the game and i watched the beginning thats how. But i think i know why it is doing that i am using the skyrim.esm i think i need a different esm like example Enderal.esm or something i think the esm for skyrim is made for skyrim only thats why i can't see the new text.

No. The skyrim.esm is correct. Enderal needs it.

Is there any write protection on your Skyrim / Enderal directory? Try to disable this write protection and/or restart your PC. The Enderal launcher needs to be run as admin.

It is important to start the launcher as admin. Normally it switches the write-protection temporarily for updates.
It is normal that steam set up a write protection.

Update: just got through trying to get rid of the write protection all attempts have failed so i made another partition out of my local disk and am moving my steam directory to it will keep y'all informed thank you.
