When I start up the game up the game it will be fine for an arbitrary amount of time and then begins to stutter. It does not lock up, freeze, crash, etc. It is more like my FPS just drops through the floor. The stutter lasts for 10 to 20 seconds and happens every 30 to 60 seconds. I have tried lowering the graphic setting in the launcher, installing my own SKSE with the memory patch, ENBoost (with a few different ini setting), Enderal - 60 fps interface mod, Skyrim Stuttering 64hz bug fix mod, and none of these have worked. Any help would be greatly appreciated, because I have thoroughly enjoyed what little of Enderal I have managed to play, but the stutter makes the game completely unplayable.

welcome to the forum :)

installing skse separately was a mistake - not sure what problems it will cause (since I'm not ... someone who knows this stuff),
but it is generally advised against.
don't know if one can simply "undo" that, or you'll have to reinstall :/

but the stuttering was there before you did that, so at least the new skse ist not causing that.

- try enabling / disabling oneTweak in your launcher

- you could try starting Enderal as administrator

- could there be an antivirus/firewall interfering?

- graphics card drivers, launcher and game are up to date?

- you meet the system requirements? I had a similar problem in the past because I barely scraped the "4gb RAM" requirement.
(problem was only solved after changing that :/ )
[+] more info on that
the disk under "Performance" tab in the taskmanager was under full capacity -
you'd need to check there, if you think that could be the problem.
as said, getting more RAM was the only thing that helped (me)

urst thanks for the reply.
I removed SKSE and don't see any changes. I haven't tried reinstalling but like you said that probably isn't the issue.
Unfortunately, I tried all the other suggestions and none of them had any effect. Ran as admin, everything up-to-date, and if my firewall is doing anything it's not saying nothing about it. Tried oneTweak on/off, window mode on/off, with different aspect ratios and resolutions. Oh, and I tried turning off vsync too. Any more Ideas?

Can you please give us more details about your system (CPU, graphics card, RAM, monitor, operating system, anti-virus software)?

Have you run other programs that load the system?

I removed SKSE and don't see any changes
so the old skse version is still present?

- one thing I found is "set 'Distant Object Detail' to High/Medium or Low (if you have it on Ultra)", but you probably tried that.

otherwise..
maybe really take a look at the resource monitor
- play Enderal until the lags start, then close it
- open the taskmanager (right click on taskbar), show more details
- is anything under the tap "Performance" under heavy load?
-> open the ressource monitor; if any process is working exactly when (and only if) Enderal is running, it would be visible here :?:

I tried the task manager thing. My problem being that I am not sure what I am looking for exactly or what I'm even looking at sometimes.
Under Performance my memory seemed to being running about 50%.
Under the resource manager CPU Maximum Frequency was running 80-110%, Used Physical Memory was 25-50%, Disk usage seemed to be bouncing all over the place. My AVG seemed to be working a heavier load then the rest of the processes, but again, I'm not sure what qualifies as a "heavy" load.

CPU Maximum Frequency at up to 110% seems a bit much for Enderal
you can sort after "CPU" in the Ressource Manager, in the respective tab.
whatever program's on top, for some reason it has a problem with Enderal.

if it's AVG, can you whitelist the game or something?
or turn it off and and try playing without it once.

Enderal has a much more sophisticated graphics compared to Skyrim.
I'm afraid your GPU is just too weak.
You can maybe test this mod.
I myself have never tried them!
So I do not know if the Mod caused problems after various Enderal patches.
