End of Quest "The Voice From the Water" [solved]

Ive returned to Riverville and have spoke to Mayor Jugar. But when I finished talking to him the quest hasn't updated or ended. Ive tried talking to him again and picked the other dialog option but the same thing happened. Its nothing major, I'm just stuck with a quest that I can't finish.

I'm at the end of "The Voice from the Water" quest with the only objective being "Return to Jugar Featherwall" but when I talk to him the last line of his dialogue doesn't play and I don't get the key for the reward. This was working on the previous patches, up to 1.1.1.1, on a separate character.

Quest is bugged for me. Finished everything and just have to go talk to Mayor Jugar but he doesn't complete the quest he just keeps repeating himself after you give him your condolences.

Anybody know how to fix this?

Also had this happen. Assuming this is where the quest terminates, but it doesn't. When you speak to him again you get the dialogue goes back to lie / tell the truth.

ok, so i found a fix but it doesnt entirely work
so 1. activate the quest and put in the command console " showquesttargets " and get the quest id
2. next, put in the console " player.sqs <quest id> "
3. finally, put in the console " setstage <quest id> <stage> " however i think you use the 2nd to last option (for me it was 250)

for me, i had to put in " setstage nq15 250 " and it worked for me

BUT!!!!!

there was a problem, the quest completed and i exited the building and my game crashed so i would recommend keeping autosave turned on
