Screwing around with the German version

THIS IS EXPERIMENTAL - DON'T TAKE MY WORD AS TRUE FACT, I DON'T RECOMMEND TO INSTALL ANY OF THIS MODS, EVEN THE ONES THAT ARE APPARENTLY WORKING, BECAUSE THEY MAY STILL BREAK SOMETHING LATER IN THE GAME
Hi guys,

finally the german version of Enderal is out and I really want to congratulate and praise you for the amazing work you have done.
I only played until I met your first companion and it looks amazing so far. I even got scared a couple of times, I love the feeling of danger and creepiness of the beginning, it reminded me so much of Nehrim beginning into the mine, but not as much scaring (the damn troll was really scaring!). Also the voice acting sounds really good, even if I can't understand it.
So.. Well done guys, thank you so much for all your hard work. :D

Now, I didn't open a topic just to congratulate, even if compliments are in order. :)
As I posted before what I want to do while waiting for the english version is to test some Skyrim mods and see if they work in Enderal and post my finding here, in case someone is interested. And I already have some results. 8)

- Mods that apparently are working fine:
- Customizable Camera http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37347/? allows you to customize your camera position.
- Equipping Overhaul http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49784/? allows you to show all your favorited weapons on your character.
- No More Glowing Edges http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34981/?
- Auto Unequip Ammo http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10753/?
- Five O' Clock Shadow http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49994/? your beard will grow over time.

- Mods that seem to work for the moment but I'm suspicious:
- TK Dodge http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/20923/? allows you to dodge, but require FNIS so I don't know if it will break something in the future.

- Mods that need a compatibility patch:
- Quick Loot http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/73096/? quick loot as in Fallout 4, it works but it allows you to loot graves without having to dig them, it needs a patch so you can't quickloot them before digging.

- Mods that don't work:
- None until now.

I'm testing the mods I usually use in my modded Skyrim, the ones I can't play without, which includes also texture packs. I will post my definitive textures mod list when I'm ready, right now I'm replacing just the more easier textures (armors and weapons as I find them in Enderal). I'm going caution on the textures because I don't want to replace something it's already replaced.

I may actually extract the bsa now that I'm thinking about it...

Yeah I can understand that, I'll probably do the same once I've installed it. I've had a modded skyrim for so long it will be almost impossible to return to vanilla:)

Hey Sancez,
thanks for your great work!
But this Thread is not officially approved by our Testers and Devs.
We can't guarantee that these Mods work fluently with Enderal. (maybe they destroy some essential scripts later on.)
So please treat this as an experiment.

Same from me! First of all, thanks a bunch for your congratulations! :)
Just keep in mind that Enderal has it's own masterfile, so bugs are almost guaranteed with some mods (particularly those who rely on Skyrim). But I'm guessing - or hoping - that as soon as the English version is out, people will start porting mods. Particularly those you have tested so far should be very easily ported. Until now, we, as a team, have to officially advise against using any mods that have not been thoroughly tested and optimized for Enderal. That doesn't mean you can't do it, just don't get angry if us if they break something. :P
Now back to work! Dave Fennoy's recordings are waiting to be cut and a lot of bugs will have to be fixed. The upside of having to wait for the English version is that it will ship with less bugs than the German one! :)

Hi guys, thanks for taking some time to post here. I will edit my first post to explain much better the experimental nature of what I'm doing, I thought the title "screwing around" was self explanatory enough! :D

As a modder myself (I'm Eferas on the nexus if you want to check out my Fallout 4 mods) I know how frustrating it is when some dumb user doesn't know what he's doing and doesn't install a mod correctly or just download and install a bunch of random stuff that can't work together and then he comes complaining at you as if it is your mod that broked his game.

So stay easy, I'm not that kind of user and I'm not going to report wrong bugs that are caused by some mod I installed. :)

Actually I'm gonna edit my post so it's more precise, so some random users don't get a false impression.

I've installed Enderal even though I can't understand most of the German. I would just like to explore the scenery a bit. But I am stuck after the dream sequence where I am at the "island" with the talent trees. I can't figure out what to do to get out of there. Any help would be appreciated.

Press (P) to open your magic menu, select "Meditation" and use it (Y) to leave the "Mindworld".
