Dumb question - Guard meshes?

I am completing my mod list* but I am having trouble locating the outfit/meshes of Enderal-specific NPCs. For example, the Light City Guard Cuirass that the Ark guards wear. I looked in meshes/armor, meshes/enderal and unpacked EEN-Meshes.bsa and I can't find much anywhere. Is there some other file/folder that I overlooked?

* I re-did my list to make it UNP-based but it's the Enderal-specific stuff that I'm having trouble with. I thought if I save a custom version in meshes/armor, I can have something other than Enderal vanilla.

it's located in meshes\Enderal\armor\Guard\, named ArkGuardHaubergeon_1.nif :)

if you can't find a whole lot of others you might want to look for them with the Creation Kit (I did the same)

Thank you, that is helpful.

Ok, I need one more hint. Can someone tell me how to determine what armor Myrthe Eagleeye is supposed to wear? There's no information in CK about her outfit and in TES5Edit it appears to reference a male studded model and a default outfit that's something like a light bandit. How should I be reading this information so I know what nif this actor is referencing?

Addendum: I check to see if I have the CK data loaded and I found I could not even duplicate your guard steps above. I am using a Data file of just default Enderal Skyrim.esm and Update.esm and typing guard in the Object Window does not give me that list for the _15E_ records. What are the Data files I need to load and make active?

Myrthe Eagleeye is that older lady in the Arker market place, right?
the archer?
I think she is wearing the normal (Skyrim) leather armor.
(and it shows up fine in my CK :?: )

hm, all I loaded was skyrim.esm and update.esm.
I clicked on "all" (the very last thing in the list on the left, to show everything) though,
and sorted by "Form Type" maybe thats the difference.

they do show up under "armor" though :/
I may have a different update.esm (since i'm fs tester right now*),
but I don't think the guard meshes were changed.
you could check what exactly the guards are wearing :?:

(* I also have a lot of loose files, could also make a difference. dunno :/ )

If you give me a list of missing stuff I can look it up :)

That indeed was the difference, plus making the requisite changes to skyrimeditor.ini to make it load better.

The only question left is how to change the language to English as shown in your Outfit Objects and Inventory boxes (mine comes up in German)? I checked the ini (all English settings) and any settings in CK. I am loading and archiving the EEN version.

i kid you not, i didn't even know you could change the language :|

take a look at the skyrimeditor.ini (in Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim);
do you have a language line somewhere under [general]?
(I don't)
(reference)

it should read
[General]
sLanguage=ENGLISH

Done, thanks for all of your help.

My goal was to set up a group of mods based around
- UNP with HDT and BBP
- UNP Minidresses and Spicegear
- the awesome Enderal NPC Overhaul
- SkyHide

My questions above had to with filling in some Enderal-specific holes and to change a number of common NPCs (like Guards) to match the lore-friendly but warm-weather armor of Spicegear. (I've wondered why those living in the desert, tropics and Sun Coast are wearing stuff like they're living in the Winterhold mountains?)

Now I am anxious to see how all of these work in FS. Might have to tcl to Riverville and Ark to quickly find out.
