I learned that you are supposed to get a journal update after talking to Hawk about joining.
I did not get that update. Instead Hawk instantly forgets who I am after saying goodbye.
Then he wants me to pay again...and again...
That is a bug, right?
Is it possible to force that journal update?
The german LPer did not have this problem.

Edit: Solved by starting a new game.
